Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about sabaki.dance ticketing

How do I sell tickets for my event?

Create your event on Sabaki, activate ticketing, complete the Stripe onboarding and set your prices.

What do I need for Stripe onboarding as an organizer?

To securely receive payments, you will be redirected once to our partner Stripe to create a so-called “Express” account.

For the initial Stripe Express onboarding, your bank details (IBAN) and basic personal information are sufficient. ID or tax ID is only requested if legal reviews, risk factors, or payout limits are reached.

How do I buy a ticket?

Go to the event page, click on “Buy ticket now”, select category and pay via Stripe.

How does entry work?

Show your QR code (on phone or printed). The organizer scans it with the integrated check-in interface.

When do I receive my earnings?

Stripe transfers automatically after successful verification. You can see payout dates in the Stripe dashboard.

What payment methods are available?

All methods supported by Stripe: credit card, Google Pay, Apple Pay, SEPA and more.

Can I transfer my ticket?

Yes! Tickets can be transferred. Both the QR code and the name on the ticket matter for entry - the QR code is scanned during check-in, and organizers can see and verify the names in their check-in list. If you transfer your ticket to someone else, you should inform the organizer so they can update the name on the ticket.

What are passes and how do they differ from tickets?

Passes are an alternative to tickets that allow access to multiple events in a recurring series. While tickets are valid for a single event, passes can be used for multiple events, making them ideal for weekly classes, workshops, or event series. For recurring event series, you can offer both regular tickets and passes, giving your attendees flexibility to choose what works best for them.

What types of passes can I sell?

You can create two types of passes:

  • Count-based passes: Valid for a specific number of events (e.g., "10-Events-Pass"). Each time the pass is used, the remaining count decreases.
  • Date range passes: Valid for all events within a specific time period (e.g., "Summer Pass" for June to August). Unlimited use within the validity period.
How do pass check-ins work?

Pass holders receive a QR code that they can use for entry to any event in the series. When scanned, the system validates the pass and records the check-in. For count-based passes, the remaining uses are automatically updated.
