Data sharing with event organizers
Stripe payment processing
Payment processing is handled by Stripe Inc., a certified payment service provider. Stripe processes your payment data according to its own privacy policy. sabaki.dance stores no credit card or bank data - this remains exclusively with Stripe.
Organizer KYC and identity verification
Organizers who want to sell tickets must identify themselves via Stripe (KYC - Know Your Customer). This data (name, bank details, identity documents) is processed exclusively by Stripe and serves money laundering prevention and tax compliance.
Storage period for ticketing data
Ticket transactions: 10 years (tax retention obligation)
Check-in data: 2 years after the event
Participant lists: Transferred to organizers after event end and deleted by us
Upon account deletion: All ticketing data is anonymized, transaction data remains anonymized for legal reasons
Your rights regarding ticketing data
- Access: You can request information about your stored ticketing data at any time
- Correction: Incorrect data can be corrected (change contact details)
- Deletion: Data is automatically deleted after retention periods expire
- Objection: You can object to data processing (leads to cancellation of future ticket purchases)

Legal Basis
Processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR for contract fulfillment as well as Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR due to our legitimate interest in providing a functional dance community platform.
